To support indigenous communities to sustainably utilized land-based resources to tackle their own economic, social and environmental problems
Specific Objectives.
ATUDIS Strive to achieve the following Key Objectives in the implementation of its program;
• Ensuring inclusive participation and constructive engagements between the duty bearers and rights holders and ensuring effective and efficient services delivery in areas of Environmental and Land Rights as per the constitution of Kenya 2010 and the subsequent legislative, regulatory and policy frameworks.
- Carrying Civic and Environmental Education
- Strengthening community lands governance structures.
- To decrease burden of communicable diseases in Turkana community through increased access and provision of safe and clean drinking water and improved sanitation and hygiene.
- To strengthen the ability of local structures to address causes of conflict or violence and promote sustainable peace and reconciliation in Turkana.
- To provide scholarship to the needy children in the community.
- Digital upskilling and career readiness for girls and boys from pastoral areas.
- Mentorship program in schools to support children/youth transition to employment.
